Women’s Health Care provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services at two convenient locations in Haverhill and Newburyport. We are affiliated with Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA.

A doctor or a nurse midwife are on call 24/7. After hours, our answering service will take your call and we will return your call promptly.


Prescription refills


This hotline is for refills only. Please have the dosage, pharmacy name and/or phone number available when you call the office. Refill requests are best received earlier in the day to allow enough time for our office and the pharmacy to fill them.

Billing and Insurance Information

Please Note…

  • Ultrasound services, laboratory services, pathology services and other tests are not provided by Women’s Health Care; therefore, you will receive statements from the respective providers performing those tests and or services.
  • Please notify our staff of requirements of your insurance carrier for specific laboratories and pharmacies.
  • Women’s Health Care accepts Visa and MasterCard credit cards, checks and cash.

Women’s Health Care accepts most private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid; however, some services offered at Women’s Health Care may not be covered by your policy. Please check with the administrator of your plan.

Co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance or non-covered services are expected to be paid at the time of your visit.

Please bring your current insurance card and a picture ID to all appointments. Our receptionists will scan a copy of each into your electronic medical record.
